It has 79.6-84.2cm of plant height with moderately compact plant type, erect flag leaf, a moderate flag leaf angle, dark green leaf and colorless leaf sheath. The stem stalk is tough and tensile. In harvesting time, it shows a good ripening look in color and no premature senescence. The seed set rate is 75% and the 1000-grain weight is 13.6g. |

Its growth duration is 138 days, which is 3-4 days earlier than II-you 58(CK), and 12.5 days later than Jinyou 207(CK), the same as Shanyou63 grown in Hunan.It has been about 15.4 thousand productive tillers/mu,and 15.4 thousand valid spikes/667m2, 167.5 spikelets per panicle on average with 84.5% of seed set rate and 28 g of 1000-grain weight.Its average yield is 8,851.5kg/ha in regional yield trial in Hunan province.
